Andover-based Bliss Beauty Therapy is em-barking on a series of initiatives – and encouraging other local businesses and organizations to do likewise – all to raise funds towards a Guide Dog Puppy.

Larraine Mitchell of Bliss explains: “As the salon is 20 years old and The Guide Dogs Association is 75 years old, this year, I thought we could celebrate by doing something different – having a bit of fun and putting something back into the community that has supported us all this time."

 “A guide dog obviously makes such a difference to a blind or visually impaired person’s quality of life, and their training is funded totally by donations.  We would like people to raise what they can – and have a good time doing it.”
