The Interseasons – HARMONY OF EARTH
Yellow is the symbol of light and magnificence. Yellow means wisdom, imagination and happiness. It is a de-stressing colour thanks to the magnetism that comes from it. This colour has a positive effect on both the cerebral and digestive systems by getting rid of toxins and nervous tension.
This is a time to focus within and eat heavier, more substantial, comforting food. During the Earth Interseasons we want to eat sweeter foods, but instead of choosing foods rich in sugar, choose sweetcorn, squash, pumpkin, seeds and nuts. Make sure you eat a good breakfast before 9 in the morning to satisfy your stomach and your spleen! Eat slowly and take time to digest, don’t rush. Take light exercise daily to tone and build up your strength. If you feel you need to shed a few pounds, now is the perfect time to do so as dieting and weight loss are much easier during these times of the year.
